Extreme weather reminders

We continue to experience extreme weather patterns throughout Canada. During this time of year, our members are at higher risk of property damage from hail, wind, flood and wildfire.

To prepare for these extreme weather conditions, you can:

• Monitor your local weather alerts
• Make sure you have enough water and food for three days, a manual can opener, wind up or battery powered flashlights ( extra batteries), wind up or battery-operated radio, a first-aid kit
• Update your family’s emergency plan to include safe exits from your home and neighbourhood, and current health and insurance information
