Alberta wildfires – Curo is here to help

Almost 4,000 residents of High Level, AB have been ordered to evacuate as out-of-control wildfires rage just 20 kilometers south of the town. Residents will be evacuated for at least 72 hours and are asked to register at the Slave Lake Legacy Centre, 400 6 Avenue NE, or at High Prairie Sports Palace, 5409 49 Street, south of the town.

How to evacuate

A route has been set up to accommodate highway closures on highways 58 and 88: residents are to leave town east on Highway 58, and then south on Highway 88. For the latest wildfire updates including evacuation routes, please visit
